Homebuyer 101
Class Fee: FREE
Occurrence: Online the first Tuesday of every month and in person once every 3 months
Attending the Homebuyer 101 overview is the first step in your education to successful homeownership. In this FREE intro class you will learn about grant and mortgage programs, credit qualifying and more.
Online: This class is offered via webinar and has a two part registration process. Please register for the class of your choice. A week prior to the meeting we will send you a link to register for the Zoom meeting. Please register for the Zoom meeting as soon as possible, as we begin offering the class to people on our waiting list the Monday before the class.
In Person: This class is offered once every 3 months during the day at the Albany Public Library, 161 Washington Avenue. Classes are currently being scheduled for Fridays at 1 pm.

Choose from two online programs. Meet with a Homeownership Advisor to learn about the process specific to New York State. In person education also available!
Landlord Training
Course Fee: $20
Occurrence: Scheduled 3-4 times a year
Become a Better Landlord. Learn about tenant selection strategies, good property management techniques, the eviction process and more. Course fee includes many course materials and resources. Obtain your Landlord Training certificate after taking this 2.5 hour course taught by local experts.
